Kirsten Zobbe is educated as a teacher, depth therapist, sex counselor and is now assigned to Skive Technical Institute Home as supervisor and mentor. She has been director of institutions for mentally disabled for many years. She teaches and is also a lecturer today.
Her artistic career has evolved over the years, but from the middle of the last decade, she has devoted herself to painting full time. Kirsten Zobbe has participated in many painting courses both in Denmark and abroad and she has had many study trips, mainly to the countries of southern Europe.
Since 2005 she has had many exhibitions in art organizations, in galleries, in community centers and she has participated in several censured exhibitions. She has sold to several public and private institutions.
Kirsten Zobbe is married to Harald Ejvind Zobbe. They are both members of "West Jutland Artists".
Kirsten Zobbe paints her artworks with spatula and brush and finishes with a varnish that gives the images depth and power. She uses many things in the paintings, including paper, fabric and sand. She is inspired by people, their joy and energy and today's mood and music in their shared studio, which creates the background for the creation of the pieces of art.
Kirsten Zobbe amazes with incredible joy of creation and a diversity that hits the viewer with powerful sensations. Her pictures are very colorful, lyrical and aesthetic and several of them have the shared title "Clothesline Of Love".
